The World Grand Prix is a new World Nineball Tour Major bringing international nineball to Barcelona. Its inaugural edition takes place from 18–20 January 2027 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, with 64 players competing across eight tables for a $100,000 prize fund.

The tournament uses a single-elimination format, making every match decisive from the opening round. Six consecutive victories will take the champion from the last 64 to the first World Grand Prix title.

Created through a partnership between Matchroom and WorldGaming, the event will be staged alongside ICE Barcelona, an international gathering for the gaming, technology and entertainment industries. It gives nineball a platform to reach visitors encountering the professional game for the first time, while adding a new Spanish destination to the WNT’s Major calendar.
