The third edition of the 2026 Roobet Reyes Cup will take place from 15–18 October at Makati Coliseum, Makati, as Team Rest of the World look to end Team Asia’s back-to-back winning streak. Fans unable to make it to Makati Coliseum can catch every moment of the action live on WNT TV, the home of nineball.

Pecelj arrives on the back of a standout year, headlined by a run through America in August that saw him claim the Phoenix Open title, reach the semi-finals of the US Open Pool Championship and fight back from the brink to reach the final of the Arizona Open Pool Championship. That form has marked him out as one of the most dangerous players on the Tour heading into Manila.

Pecelj said: “I’m so happy, I can’t wait to make my debut, my first Teams event on the World Nineball Tour. Thank you Matchroom. I manifested that I would make the team after my run in America in August. I’ve been practicing more than ever before, eight hours a day, and now I’m going to practice even harder, even if it means I sleep on the table. I want to do my best in Manila and make sure I do everything I can to help get us the win.”

Emily Frazer, Matchroom Multi Sport CEO, explained the decision to hand Pecelj the Wildcard Pick.

Frazer commented: “Aleksa has been one of the standout performers on the Tour this year, and his run through America in August, winning the Phoenix Open and reaching the Arizona Open final, showed just how great he’s become on the table.

“He’s a real dark horse for this event, and honestly the true definition of a Wildcard Pick. He’s incredibly loyal to the Tour, committing himself to every event, and that dedication deserves to be rewarded. He’s a real inspiration for the rest of the Tour, showing everyone what’s possible if you put the work in for a chance at events like the Roobet Reyes Cup. We can’t wait to see him bring that form and hunger to his debut in Manila.”

With Pecelj now confirmed, he completes the Team Rest of the World line-up, with just one spot remaining to complete Team Asia. The full 2026 Roobet Reyes Cup lineup will be announced soon, with the world’s leading nineball players set to battle for the prestigious Roobet Reyes Cup at Makati Coliseum this October.

Tickets for the 2026 Roobet Reyes Cup are on sale now, with fans able to experience four days of world-class nineball action live in Makati.
