Cuetec Extends WNT Partnership In Multi-Year Agreement

Multi-year agreement sees Cuetec expand its role with the World Nineball Tour, continuing a partnership that has been in place since 2022

The World Nineball Tour is pleased to announce that Cuetec will remain the Official Cue, Case, Glove, and Rest Partner of the World Nineball Tour as part of a new multi-year agreement, extending the brand’s long-standing partnership with the sport’s leading professional tour.

Cuetec has been a Cue Partner of the World Nineball Tour since 2022, with the new agreement expanding the partnership across a wider range of equipment and strengthening the brand’s involvement throughout the WNT’s global tournament calendar.

That collaboration has already produced tangible results on the table, most notably the Nineball Series Cue by Cuetec, launched last year as a joint project between the WNT and Cuetec and designed specifically around the demands of professional nine-ball competition.

The partnership will see Cuetec represented across all WNT Major events, providing players with access to its range of cues, cases, and gloves as the Tour continues to deliver the highest level of professional nine-ball around the world.

The renewed partnership comes following a standout performance at the 2026 US Open Pool Championship, where Cuetec player Francisco Sanchez Ruiz claimed his second US Open title, adding another of the sport’s most prestigious trophies to his collection.

Francisco Sanchez Ruiz said:

“Cuetec has been an important part of my career for many years, so it is great to see the partnership with the World Nineball Tour continue to grow. My equipment is a huge part of being able to perform at this level and I have complete confidence in my Cuetec setup. Winning the US Open again with Cuetec behind me was a very special moment in my career, and I’m excited to see what we can achieve together in the years ahead.”

The partnership will also extend to the WNT’s NXT GEN series, underlining Cuetec’s commitment to supporting the next generation of players as they begin their journey through the professional game.

Brett Garson, Cuetec Global Brand Manager, said:

“Cuetec’s renewed partnership of the World Nineball Tour is about supporting the game at its highest level while doing our part to help establish a clear pathway for future generations of WNT professionals. Along that journey, from NXT GEN through the elite tiers of the professional game, aspiring professionals have the opportunity to earn their place in the same arenas as top players competing for the game’s most prestigious titles.

On the sport’s biggest stages and under its brightest lights, every decision matters, and performing at your peak requires complete trust in both yourself and your equipment. Those moments influence how we approach the engineering and development of our products — creating equipment designed to meet the demands of competition when the margins are at their smallest. The WNT is where those moments happen, and we’re proud to continue supporting its team, its vision, and the future of professional nine-ball.”

Emily Frazer, CEO of Matchroom Multi Sport, said:

“Cuetec has been a fantastic partner of the World Nineball Tour since 2022, and this new agreement is a natural evolution of a relationship that has continued to grow alongside the Tour. Their commitment to professional nine-ball and to players at every stage of their careers makes them a great fit for the WNT. The Nineball Series Cue by Cuetec, which we launched together last year, is a great example of what this partnership can produce when both organizations work closely together, and I’m excited for what else we can build in that space.

“Seeing Francisco win the US Open with Cuetec was a fantastic reflection of the quality of the equipment, but our partnership goes far beyond one player or one event. We are delighted to expand Cuetec’s role across our Major events and NXT GEN, and look forward to building on what has already been a hugely successful partnership.”

The multi-year agreement will see Cuetec continue to play an integral role across the WNT’s global schedule, supporting the Tour’s leading players and its commitment to developing the next generation of professional nine-ball talent.
