Roobet Reyes Cup: The Ultimate Event Guide

The players, tickets, travel and merchandise to help you plan four days at the 2026 Roobet Reyes Cup – and make the Philippines Open part of your October trip.

Ten players, two teams and a trophy Team Asia have yet to surrender. The Roobet Reyes Cup returns from 15–18 October, with Makati Coliseum hosting the third edition as Team Asia face Team Rest of the World.

Francisco “Django” Bustamante leads Asia in pursuit of a third consecutive title. Ralf Souquet takes charge of Rest of the World for the first time, with a side bringing together familiar rivals from individual tournaments and the Mosconi Cup. Here is what to know before joining them in Makati.

When and Where

The Reyes Cup takes place at Makati Coliseum on Mascardo Street, Makati, Metro Manila, from Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 October 2026.

Sessions are currently scheduled for 7pm–11.30pm each day. All times are local to the Philippines and remain subject to change. These are session times; check the latest event information for admission arrangements before setting off.

The Players

The team setting brings a different dimension to familiar Tour rivalries. Players who spend most of the season trying to beat one another now share the same objective, with each result contributing to their team’s campaign.

Team Asia

Captain Francisco “Django” Bustamante combines three returning champions with two players making their Reyes Cup debuts.

Carlo Biado — The 2025 World Pool champion returns after sharing the title-clinching match with AJ Manas in last year’s Reyes Cup. He gives the home crowd a world champion to get behind.

Robbie Capito — The Hong Kong star makes his debut after reaching the 2026 US Open final. The man who beat him there, Francisco Sánchez Ruiz, will be in the opposing team.

AJ Manas — Last year’s MVP returns for his second appearance. His debut helped Asia retain the trophy, and he now arrives with experience of the occasion alongside fellow Filipino Biado.

Duong Quoc Hoang — The Vietnamese hero returns for a third consecutive Reyes Cup, this time with the 2026 Premier League Pool title to his name.

Albert Januarta — The Indonesian makes his debut after a season that included a Premier League Pool semi-final and quarter-finals at the Florida and Arizona Opens. He joins Capito as one of Asia’s two newcomers.

Team Rest of the World

Captain Ralf Souquet has two returning Reyes Cup players and three debutants as Rest of the World seek their first title.

Francisco Sánchez Ruiz — The 2026 US Open champion returns after representing the team in 2025. Capito’s presence on the other side adds another point of interest, should the selections bring the US Open finalists together again.

Shane Van Boening — The five-time US Open champion makes his Reyes Cup debut. His long Mosconi Cup career gives him extensive experience of playing for a team, and he arrives following victory at the 2026 Florida Open.

Joshua Filler — A former Mosconi Cup MVP, the German brings established team credentials to his first Reyes Cup. This time, familiar American opponents Van Boening and Fedor Gorst are teammates.

Fedor Gorst — Gorst returns from the 2025 side alongside Sánchez Ruiz. His experience of facing Asia in this competition gives Souquet another player familiar with the challenge.

Aleksa Pecelj — The Serbian makes his debut following a productive August: a Phoenix Open title, an Arizona Open runner-up finish and a US Open semi-final.

Format

The Reyes Cup is decided over 21 matches across four days, with one point available from each. The first team to reach 11 points wins the trophy.

Each day opens with a team match between Team Asia and Team Rest of the World, followed by a mix of singles and doubles. Every player on both sides must play at least once in a set block of matches each day, so no one sits out a session and captains must use their full squad.

Getting to Makati Coliseum

By Taxi

Set your destination to Makati Coliseum, Mascardo Street, Makati. Save the venue pin before leaving your hotel or accommodation, and check the route against live traffic. Build extra time into your journey, particularly for the weekday evening sessions, so you can arrive before play begins.

From the Airport

If you are arriving at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Grab offers airport transfers. Follow the app’s pickup instructions for your arrival terminal, or arrange a transfer through your accommodation. Allow time for arrival formalities and traffic when planning to attend on the day you land.

Using Public Transport

Fans using LRT Line 1 can consider Vito Cruz station, with an onward road journey to the coliseum. Plan the full route from your starting point and check current services before travelling. The station is not at the venue, so allow time for the final connection.

With play currently scheduled to finish at 11.30pm, plan your return journey separately. Check last-service times rather than assuming the same public transport connection will still be running after the session; a taxi or ride-hailing journey may be needed.

Merchandise at the Venue

Merchandise will be available to purchase on site, including a limited-edition Efren Reyes themed tee. The design offers fans a way to mark their visit to the tournament that carries the Filipino legend’s name.

Look out for the merchandise area during your visit to browse the range and pick up a souvenir of the 2026 Reyes Cup.

Make it a two event trip

The team contest is only the first part of the Tour’s October visit to the Philippines. The Roobet Philippines Open Pool Championship follows from 20–24 October at Gateway Mall in Quezon City, where David Alcaide returns to defend the inaugural title he won in 2025.

The Reyes Cup concludes on Sunday 18 October and the Philippines Open begins on Tuesday 20 October, leaving Monday between the two events. If you are staying for both, plan for the change from Makati to Quezon City when arranging accommodation and transport.

Philippines Open tickets are on sale for Saturday 24 October, covering the semi-finals and final. It is an opportunity to follow the team celebration with the deciding day of an individual championship.
